It's the Texas Law

Texas law states that a person may not operate a motor vehicle in this state unless financial responsibility is established for that vehicle. In order to fulfill this responsibility, the law requires all motor vehicle drivers to carry auto liability insurance in the form of Bodily Injury Coverage and Property Damage Coverage. As a result, Flexi Compras Autos will not allow a vehicle to leave the dealership until this requirement is fulfilled.

Flexi Compras Autos Insurance Requirements

All vehicles financed by Flexi Compras Autos must be underwritten with a comprehensive coverage plan. This comprehensive coverage plan is commonly referred to as "Full-Coverage" insurance. Flexi Compras Autos requires that a “Full Coverage” insurance policy not only be in effect before the customer leaves with their vehicle, but the policy must also be maintained for the duration of the loan.

Why Do I Need “Full Coverage” Insurance?

In addition to fulfilling the State of Texas law and Flexi Compras Autos requirements, “Full Coverage” insurance helps you to protect your investment. This financial protection may also offset medical expenses due to bodily injury to yourself and others resulting from an accident, lost wages due to injury resulting from an accident, benefits to survivors when an accident results in death, lawsuits, including legal fees, brought against you as the result of an accident, vehicle repairs due to damage caused in an accident, or vehicle repairs due to damage caused by something other than an accident (e.g., flood or vandalism). The policy may also protect you from having to make payments on a loan for a vehicle that you can no longer drive.

Flexi Compras Autos customers who make their payments on-time and maintain their “Full Coverage” policy will be given free oil changes.

Where Can I Get “Full Coverage” Insurance?

Although Flexi Compras Autos does not currently sell insurance, we will be happy to help you secure the necessary insurance policy. We have relationships with several local insurance partners that can provide you with a quote.

How Much Does a “Full Coverage” Insurance Policy Cost?

The cost of this policy varies. There are many insurance agencies with different plans and payment options available today. Prices and plans vary with age, driving record, vehicle, county, etc.

How Can I Pay for My “Full Coverage” Insurance Policy?

There are many different payment options. Most companies offer monthly payment plans. However, some companies offer automatic drafting from your bank account or they will let you pay with your credit card.
